Hello David,
I am researching my 4x great grandfather Francis Hodgson (1777-1821) who lived in and was buried in Brompton. Any possibility you are related to Hodgsons there?
I’m researching from California and have only been able to visit the area once, but hope to return soon.

Hi Ed: My father came from Leeds, as did most of his ancestors, but that doesn’t mean that we’re not related to other Yorkshire Hodgsons. My father had a theory that all Hodgsons are descended from one family, but I’ve no idea whether that’s true. As you’ll see from my blog, I now live in California too!
