On a wet and cold Sunday afternoon, 27th November 1977, I stumbled across this former United Welsh Bristol MW6G, with ECW coach bodywork, parked in front of a house in the Barrowcliff area of Scarborough. It had definitely seen better days.

According to the details, it was bought as a contractor transport vehicle by Dowsett in 1975, and was obviously still in use by them during 1977.
