AEC Matador “May” of S A Bell, Malton, 1976

This AEC Matador, which had presumably originally been a military tractor, was used by haulier S A Bell Ltd. during the 1970s.

This photograph was taken in the company’s Malton depot during 1976. This vehicle, named “May”, was in almost original condition, but its sister vehicle named “Scharnhorst” had a rebuilt cab.
